On H Street NW
Intense heat across the capital as July starts – "real feel temps"were 111º yesterday standing in Cleveland Park (97º officially). Saw more than a few folks passed-out (?) on park benchs, trying to recover from the sweat-drenching humidity and heat. The majority, though, were finding rest under shade, either trees or buildings, and working up the motivation to travel on to their destination. Tourists, on the other hand, were determiningly plodding onward to see all the sights.
